SilkCore Studio LLC — Studio Policies

Effective Date: December 1, 2025

1. Arrival & Check-In

  • Please arrive 10 minutes before class to allow time to settle in and find parking.

  • First-time clients should connect with their instructor upon arrival to discuss any injuries, pregnancy, or required modifications.

  • Be on your mat or reformer at class start time — this ensures your safety and respects others’ time.

  • Parking (Montclair Location): Street and municipal lot parking are available nearby. Please allow extra time to find parking before class, as spaces can be limited.

2. Class Preparation

  • Mats: Provided for all mat classes (you may bring your own if preferred).

  • Footwear:

  • Mat classes: bare feet or grippy socks.

  • Reformer classes: grippy socks required for safety (available for purchase).

  • No sneakers allowed for sanitary reasons.

  • Towels: We recommend bringing your own mat and sweat towel. Towels are available for purchase if needed.

  • Heated Classes: Infrared heat warms the room to 85–95°F, enhancing muscle activation and detox benefits.

  • Age Requirement: Participants must be 18 years or older to attend classes.

3. Payments & Accounts

  • All clients must have a credit card on file for a contactless payment experience.

  • Please sign up using your own account; accounts cannot be shared.

4. Late Policy

  • First-time clients: No late entry is permitted. Please email the studio to reschedule if you’re running late.

  • Returning clients: Entry is not allowed 10 minutes after class start time, even if your spot hasn’t been filled. This rule ensures your safety and the safety of others.

5. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations made less than 4 hours before class will incur a $10 fee or loss of class credit.

  • No-shows:

  • Class-pack clients: lose their class credit.

  • Unlimited members: charged $15.

  • You are marked as a no-show if not checked in within 5 minutes after class begins.

  • We cannot reverse no-shows or late cancellations.

  • To cancel, please do so through your app first, then email the studio if needed.

  • SilkCore Unlimited Members enjoy a 6-hour cancellation window for added flexibility.

6. Waitlist Policy

  • The waitlist automatically adds you into class as spots open — sometimes up to the start time.

  • Check your app frequently instead of relying on email notifications.

  • You may remove yourself from the waitlist at any time without penalty.

  • If you’re added to class (even last-minute) and do not attend, it will be treated as a no-show.

  • Only join the waitlist if you plan to actively check your status.

7. Health & Safety

  • Our top priority is your well-being. We sanitize all equipment after every class and provide hand sanitizing stations throughout the studio.

8. Prenatal & Postnatal Clients

  • Please consult your doctor before participating if you’re pregnant or postpartum.

  • All SilkCore classes are pregnancy-friendly with instructor modifications available.

  • Speak with your instructor before class to ensure movements suit your current needs.

  • Reformer DEEP CORE classes are specifically designed for prenatal and postpartum clients, providing safe yet effective workouts.

  • Note: Heated classes (80–90°F) may slightly raise core temperature — please discuss with your doctor before participating.

9. Memberships, Freezes & Transfers

  • Memberships renew monthly and require a minimum 3-month commitment.

  • To cancel or skip a month, email the studio at least 48 hours before billing (not via the app).

  • Freezes are allowed for 14 days or longer, with specific start and end dates required.

  • Classes, memberships, and credits are non-transferable and must be used by the purchasing client.
